Come and try the exciting sport of clay shooting!
If you have never shot before then this is the package for you. We provide everything you need - an instructor, shotguns, cartridges, clays, all safety equipment - and lots of fun! If you feel in need of moral support, then spectators are very welcome too.
How the experience works:
You'll meet your instructor at the clubhouse - all our instructors are experienced and very friendly, their main aim is to ensure you feel safe and have fun.
They will equip you with an appropriate gun - this might be a 12, 20, 28 or 410 gauge shotgun. 20 gauge shotguns are perfect for novices and young shots as recoil is minimal.
What happens next?
You will shoot a variety of different clay pigeon targets under the guidance of your instructor, who will soon have you hitting clays!
Was kindly offered a shooting session thanks to a kind benefactor. None in our "team" had ever held a shotgun before - let alone shot one. Very thorough safety briefing and a full demonstration of the whys and when.
Tuition was courtesy of a very approachable and obviously highly skilled and enthusiastic expert who soon had us all hitting the clays. Very unhurried and lots of back chat and "comments".
