Hexton
About Hexton
Situated at the northern end of the Chiltern Hills, Hexton Estate has been a shooting venue since the mid 1700s. With its grassy valleys and steep wooded hillsides, Hexton’s beats are more reminiscent of the West Country than a village situated only an hour from central London.
Originally only wild birds were shot at Hexton, but with a post war syndicate of military people shooting the estate, home rearing of pheasant and partridge began in the 1950s. In following years, many top shots and some crowned heads have enjoyed a day’s shoot on the estate.
No longer syndicated, Hexton Shoot offers a challenging days shooting, be it game or clays, exclusively private grounds with stunning views and first class hospitality.
A great day out.
The Ian Coley Sporting Agency is pleased to be able to offer days at Hexton throughout the season, please contact us today for more information.
