La Dormida is located approximately an hour and a half north of Cordoba City, in the foothills of the ancient Sierras Chicas. This modern lodge offers a combination of seclusion and luxury, and provides the ideal location to entertain family, close friends, clients or colleagues.

A typical shooting day at La Dormida starts with breakfast, prepared to order by the in-house chefs. The drives are just a short car journey away, and the shooting offers enough variety to cater for both experienced and novice shots - whether it be a challenge on high birds and sheer volume; or targets just above the tree lines.

Aside from the shooting, one of the highlights of the day is the famous asado (lunch) taken in the field - an unbelievable open-air meal of Argentine beef, dove and other meats, complemented with salads, bread and fantastic regional wines.

Laze around after lunch if you wish, or take a brief siesta, before returning to an afternoon's shooting. Afterwards, return to La Dormida to relax by the plunge pool with a cocktail before enjoying a delicious dinner with your fellow guests.

SHOOT

• A wide range of high-volume dove shooting in around 250,000 acres of the best fields in Cordoba. Days are available throughout the year from 2 guns to 12. Single or double guns.

QUARRY

• Eared Doves. These birds thrive in the region, with population levels estimated at in excess of fifty million birds.

SEASON

• All year - no closed season.

ACCOMMODATION

• La Dormida is a modern lodge offering luxury accommodation in en-suite double bedrooms. In addition to designer interior spaces, the exterior features a fire pit and plunge pool, perfect for relaxing after a days shooting. Despite its secluded location, the lodge has all modern conveniences such as WIFI, gun cleaning facilities and a laundry service.
