We have a vacancy for a Part-Time Receptionist to join our team at the Ian Coley Shooting School. We are a busy, award-winning Clay Pigeon Shooting School based just outside of Cheltenham.
Working Hours are every Monday – 8.45am – 5.15pm. Occasional holiday cover as and when needed.
Applicants must have experience of working on a busy, cash handling reception desk with a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and be able to carry out the following duties:
- Meeting and greeting visitors
- Dealing with customer enquiries and taking bookings
- Answering the phone and taking messages
- Checking and answering emails
- Running the shooting instructor’s diary
- Signing in customers for the shooting ground
- Checking details of shotgun certificates
- Taking payments on the desk and deposits by telephone
Essential skills and Requirements:
- Experience of working on a busy, cash handling reception desk and using a till system
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Good standard of written English
- Access to your own transport, as we are based in a rural location
- An interest in shooting or the countryside will be advantageous, but is not required
